We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals with a focus on food preparation, to join our kitchen team;

You will...

Food Preparation & Handling:

• Assist in preparing ingredients such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning and packing

• Basic baking skills

• Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines

• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and cooked food items

Hygiene & Sanitation:

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas at all times

• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to kitchen protocols

Inventory & Supplies:

• Receive, unpack, and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoilage

• Properly label and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method

Team Support:

• Work collaboratively with kitchen members to support our retail operations teams

• Assist in packing and organizing food items for distribution

• Support other kitchen tasks as assigned by supervisor/managers

You are...

• At least 2 years experience in a kitchen environment with a hygiene supervisor certificate (if applicable, not prerequisite)

• Demonstrate an interest in Food and Beverage Industry, particularly kitchen side

• Can work in a team and independently where applicable

• Good with numbers / basic math

• Work cleanly and efficiently
