What The Role Is
As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Career Development in the HR Strategy and Leadership Division, you will play an important role in the identification, development and engagement of senior appointment holders, as well as manage and enhance existing career development efforts to build and strengthen the Ministry’s leadership pipeline.
What You Will Be Working On
- Manage the selection, appointment and development of officers for senior leadership appointments, including review of strategies and policies, where necessary
- Analyse the overall selection outcomes and inflow/outflow trends to develop more effective and targeted strategies that strengthen leadership pipelines
- Present key findings and recommendations to Senior Management and relevant stakeholders
- Engage various stakeholders such as senior officers and external agencies to facilitate the succession planning of senior leadership positions
- Support the professional and strategic leadership development of senior appointment holders including identifying and nominating suitable officers for leadership programmes
What We Are Looking For
- A highly organised, meticulous and effective team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines effectively and independently as well as work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with good logical reasoning and policy instincts
- Proficiency in data management and analysis, and use of MS Office tools
