Responsibilities

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP Basis support and perform system maintenance, including system health checks, daily monitoring of system performance & tuning, system installation, upgrades, patching, SAP Note check & implementation, client copies/system refreshes, transport management, and user administration
  • Provide project support and coordination for the SAP functional area
  • Handle incident tickets and change requests, including handling security and authorization, job administration, connection issues, and troubleshooting functional topics
  • Perform problem management, including root-cause analysis, reporting service-impacting issues to management, and actively participating in follow-up actions to restore services to normal operation.
  • Ensuring high system availability and optimal performance
  • Conduct continuous system optimization, monitoring, and problem analysis/resolution
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Willing to work shift schedules and standby support during non-office hours, including weekends and public holidays, in accordance with company arrangements


Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, or any equivalent course
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in SAP system administration within the areas: SAP S/4HANA, ECC 6.0, SAP CRM, SAP PI, SAP BW, SAPPortal, SAP Solution Manager, and ABAP
  • Must have at least 2 go-live cycles in SAP ERP (system migration, interface setup, system refresh)
  • Sound knowledge in operating systems and database technologies (SUNSolaris, Linux, Red Hat, Oracle, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Strong at analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple high-priority items simultaneously
  • Good communication skills and a proactive team player
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with global teams
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and awareness sessions to those in closely related areas, such as colleagues, clients/users
  • Adhere to all policies and documented procedures when resolving issues, where possible, highlight improvements to the procedures
  • Ability to create support documentation and written procedures for routine and non-routine tasks
