The team manages the full event lifecycle, from concept and planning to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up. Team members collaborate closely with clients and partners to ensure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting positive impression.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Development Representative role based in Petaling Jaya. The Sales Development Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach, focusing on organizations that can benefit from Joyspace’s event services. The role includes managing inbound inquiries, understanding client needs, and scheduling meetings or demos for the sales and account management teams. The individual will maintain accurate records in the CRM, track lead status, and follow up consistently to move prospects through the pipeline. The Sales Development Representative will collaborate with the marketing and events teams to refine messaging, share market feedback, and support sales campaigns that drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Inside Sales and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and nurture prospects.
  • Proficiency in Sales and Business Development, including building relationships and supporting the conversion of leads into clients.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present event solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience using CRM or sales engagement tools, with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in events, hospitality, or related service industries is an advantage, but not required.
  • Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
