Client Background: Flash and NAND memory company

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang

• Responsible for Memory (NAND) product development activities focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) test development for wafer, memory, and system-level products (PCIe).

• Develops and defines functional product test plans, including test coverage strategy, flow, and validation framework for semiconductor devices.

• Designs test processes, hardware/software interfaces, system specifications, and I/O parameters ensuring compatibility with wafer test requirements and production environments.

• Develops and implements wafer test systems, including Die Sort and Wafer Level Burn-In (WLBI), for NPI and high-volume manufacturing readiness.

• Performs failure analysis and qualification failure debugging to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.

• Drives test strategy evaluation and optimization to improve quality of test, yield, and overall product reliability.

• Develops and executes product characterization plans using automated test platforms and instrumentation.

• Utilizes statistical analysis tools (SPC, Minitab, JMP) and conducts FMEA and DOE to improve test robustness and manufacturing efficiency.

• Designs and prepares test programs, test fixtures, and diagnostic procedures for new product release.

• Plans test resources, equipment, labor, and scheduling to support efficient evaluation and product ramp-up.

• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues from internal teams and customer feedback, ensuring product stability and performance.

• Represents engineering team in cross-functional core teams, contributing to next-generation product architecture and system design improvements.

• Provides technical input for shaping future product platforms and test methodologies across multiple product lines.
