• Collect, monitor, and analyse energy consumption, production, and variable data to track trends, performance, and efficiency.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Energy Management System (EnMS) in compliance with EECA 2024 and relevant guidelines.

• Establish energy baselines, Energy Efficiency Indicators (EEI), objectives, targets, and action plans to improve energy performance.

• Coordinate and support the Energy Management Committee (EMC), including meetings, management reviews, and internal audits.

• Prepare, verify, and submit Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EE&C) reports with accurate and validated energy data.

• Identify, recommend, and monitor energy-saving measures, including measurement and verification (M&V) of achieved savings.

• Maintain proper documentation, manuals, SOPs, and records to ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for inspections.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronics, or related technical discipline

• Have at least 3-5 years of experience in energy management within heavy industry or the manufacturing industry, such as steel, metal, etc.

• Must be a Registered Energy Manager (REM Type 2) from the Energy Commission Malaysia

• Experience in high-load electrical systems and furnace operations will be an added advantage

• Have experience in handling ISO 50001 and energy reports for regulatory submission

• Possess own transport to work in Jalan Tandang, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

• Salary is negotiable based on your work experience
