Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the end-to-end flow of export and import activities for a manufacturing facility by ensuring compliance with manufacturing licenses, customs regulations, and efficient logistics execution. Back to basic, follow company safety rule, email security control, quality & delivery on time.
Safety, Quality and Delivery are top priority, practice “Stop Call and Wait” when abnormality case occurs.
Any abnormality case or improvement activity shall on-site verification.
Make sure abnormality information escalate to HOD within 3 hours.
Develop export-import strategy: design and implement logistics system and procedure tailored to the manufacturing framework covering of import materials and export of finish goods to support production targets.
Regulatory compliance & licensing: Maintain up to date knowledge and ensure full compliance with custom laws, tariffs, free trade agreement, and specific manufacturing license regulations in all operating markets.
Documentation management – to prepare, review, and manage all required documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, customs declarations, and license-specific form.
Logistics coordination & execution - Coordinate inbound shipments of materials and outbound shipments of finished goods across manufacturing, warehousing, and customer delivery networks. Negotiate rates, schedules, and contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, and shipping lines.
Performance & cost management - Monitor shipment status, KPIs, and delivery performance. Manage logistics budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities—balancing efficiency with compliance. Page 2 of 3
Issue resolution & risk management - Proactively address and resolve shipping delays, customs holds, damage, or documentation errors. Conduct risk assessments for regulatory updates, geopolitical issues, and supply chain disruptions.
Stakeholder coordination & team leadership - Negotiate with external partners—suppliers, customers, and logistics service providers. Lead or guide a team of logistics and export/ import staff, setting goals and ensuring performance.
Continuous improvement & industry monitoring - Stay current on updates in global trade and manufacturing-license regulations. Implement process improvements using performance analysis, compliance audits, and feedback loops.
Job Requirement
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in export/import logistics—preferably in a regulated manufacturing environment Skills
Knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, documentation processes.
Proven negotiation skills and stakeholder relationship management.
Proficiency with ERP systems and logistics software.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
