About the role

As a Quality Control Technician at Microfab Technology Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction. This full-time position is based in Penang, where you will use your technical expertise to ensure our manufacturing processes adhere to rigorous quality control protocols.

What you'll be doing

• Performing thorough quality inspections at various stages of the production process

• Identifying and investigating any defects or non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions

• Conducting statistical analysis to monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements

• Maintaining detailed quality control records and documentation

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues

• Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards and industry regulations

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related technical discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control techniques

• Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of relevant quality standards and industry regulations
