Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist to Identify & develop new product via internal resources or external support for new product development.

  • Conduct Weekly product evaluation via appointed panel & conduct general survey.

  • Assist in Preparing SOP, Product Training, and product evaluations.

  • Assist to initiating new recipes, cooking samples for testing, enhancing current products, and providing input to taste, texture, and packaging of food products. 

  • Assist in New Product development and first production quality assessment at internal or external food production facilities.

  • Assist in conducting consumer testing, observing market trends, and identifying recipes and conduct market price analysis.

  • Assist in recording learning on flavor, portion, and pricing from consumer’s feedback and preparing reports.

  • Assist in implementation of Food Safety and supplier audit.

Competencies (Skills And Abilities):

  • Individual that are passionate about food and beverages.

  • Understand or familiar with food and beverages, its processing method.

  • Attention to details and accuracy, well organized, adaptive, able to work under pressure and able to
    meet tight deadlines.

  • Added advantage in Food Merchandising, category development, and food sourcing.

  • Have basic understanding / experience in HACCP and Food Safety.

  • Able to work in groups and independently.

  • Fast learner, Possess positive attitude and initiative, able to multitasked.

  • Strong communication (verbal & written), meticulous and detailed oriented.

  • Computer literate, good analytical skill & sensitive to current food trend.
     

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor of Food Science & Nutrition, or 
    Diploma/Bachelor of Food Technology, or 
    Diploma/Bachelor of Food Service, or
    Diploma/Bachelor of Culinary Arts, or 
    Food related Studies, or knowledge in Mixology/ Barista.

  • Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & HACCP

  • Principles & Applications
    Have at least 2 years' experience in the similar field / scope of work.
