Responsibilities

CITY COIN LAUNDRY SDN. BHD. is looking for a Project Manager to lead the renovation and setup of new self-service laundry outlets. You will manage each project from site handover to grand opening, working with the in-house renovation team and internal stakeholders to deliver every outlet on time, within budget, and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and outlet opening schedules to ensure smooth coordination between renovation works and machine installation.

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the in-house renovation team, including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other site workers.

  • Allocate manpower effectively across multiple ongoing renovation projects and maintain strong site discipline and performance.

  • Monitor renovation costs, manage material procurement requests, and keep projects within approved budgets without compromising quality.

  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure workmanship meets company standards and safety requirements.

  • Act as the key liaison between the renovation team, Operations, Procurement, Admin, landlords, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and compliance.

  • Resolve on-site issues, technical roadblocks, and manpower shortages quickly to avoid delays to outlet openings.

  • Provide regular updates to management on project progress, budget tracking, risks, and site readiness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in Project Management, Interior Design renovation, or Retail Construction.

  • Experience in retail chain expansion or F&B outlet setup will be an added advantage.

  • Strong understanding of renovation processes, including electrical works such as 3-phase wiring, plumbing, drainage, water pressure, and basic wet works, especially for laundry setups.

  • Proven experience managing directly employed site workers or an in-house technical team.

  • Strong multitasking ability, with the capacity to handle 2 to 3 site renovations at the same time.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, good stress tolerance, and the ability to maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in spoken Mandarin and Cantonese is required to communicate effectively with the predominantly Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking in-house renovation team and local suppliers.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to potential and active outlet locations.
