Job responsibility:

• Receive consumable materials delivered by suppliers and verify quantities against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO).

• Inspect incoming items for damage, defects, expiry dates, or incorrect specifications.

• Ensure all received items are properly documented and recorded in the inventory system.

• Arrange and store consumable items systematically in designated storage areas.

• Ensure proper labeling, coding, and identification of all materials.

• Maintain clean, organized, and easily accessible storage locations.

• Monitor stock levels regularly to ensure availability of consumable items.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements promptly.

• Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly stock counts and cycle counts.

• Assist in periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliation activities.

• Assist in unloading and loading materials when required.

• Support emergency material requests during operational breakdowns or urgent situations.

• Perform any other store-related duties assigned by supervisors or management.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control.

• Experience handling consumable items in manufacturing is preferred.

• Familiarity with receiving, storing, issuing, and stock monitoring processes.

• Experience using inventory systems, ERP software, or computerized stock management systems is an added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of inventory control procedures and stock management.

• Understanding of FIFO (First In First Out) and proper material handling practices.

• Ability to maintain stock records accurately.
