Job description:
The Production Assistant plays a key role in supporting production operations by managing accurate data entry, coordinating material and inventory flow, and assisting in laundry and repacking processes. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 QMS and cleanroom standards to ensure compliance and smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data & Documentation Management
Collect and verify daily production data (output, man-hours, machine utilization) and update ERP systems accurately.
Maintain production records and documentation in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Prepare agendas and minutes for production meetings and follow up on action items.
2. Inventory & Material Coordination
Monitor raw material and consumable inventory levels; prepare usage reports and raise requisitions.
Coordinate timely stock replenishment with Warehouse to prevent shortages.
3. Production Support
Assist in laundry and repacking operations by verifying garment data, updating barcode/RFID information, and ensuring timely delivery.
Support QA and Production teams in resolving discrepancies and maintaining process accuracy.
4. Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to cleanroom and safety protocols at all times.
Report process deviations, system errors, and assist in investigations when required.
5. Other Duties
Provide clerical and operational support as assigned.
Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) and assist in production activities when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum: Diploma in Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 QMS and cleanroom standards (mandatory).
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Good communication and ability to coordinate across departments.
