Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.

2. To provide and demonstrate leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the quality management system in the project.

3. To take accountability for the effectiveness of the quality management system in the project.

4. To promote use of process approach and risk-based thinking in the project.

5. To communicate the importance of effective quality management system and conforming to the quality management system requirements to the project team.

6. To ensure that the quality management system achieves its intended results.

7. To promote customer focus and improvement in the project.

8. To meet client and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

9. To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.

10. To ensure the integrity of the quality management system is maintained at all times even when changes are made.

11. To fulfill the company’s contractual obligation to the clients.

12. To plan, manage, monitor, and control project operations.

13. To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.

14. To maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.

15. To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.

16. To review and monitor site work productivity and arrange for resources as required.

17. To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.

18. To report project progress to top management.

19. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Authority:

20. To issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on non-conformances identified.

Requirements:

1. Degree / Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering or Related.

2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar capacity.

3. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Self-motivated person and able to work independently.

5. Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.

6. Able to liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities.

7. Computer literate.
