About the role

As a Shipping Administrator at ACE LUBRICANTS & CHEMICALS SDN. BHD', you will play a crucial role in the company's import/export and customs operations. This full-time position is based in Seelong,Johor and you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international borders.

What you'll be doing

• Freight & Shipment Coordination : the day-to-day operational core, covering bookings, negotiations, and logistics arrangements.

• Documentation & Compliance : ensuring all paperwork meets Customs regulations for seamless cargo clearance.

• Inventory Management : accurate stock control, warehouse operations, and shipment tracking.

• Customer Service : handling enquiries, complaints, and ensuring smooth delivery experiences.

• Billing & Invoicing : accuracy and timeliness of all financial documents and payment follow-up.

• Reporting & Tracking : keeping management informed with regular shipping reports and live status updates.

• Any ad-hoc task by management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

• Strong understanding of import/export procedures and customs regulations, with the ability to navigate complex documentation requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient in using relevant shipping and logistics software, as well as Microsoft Office applications

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner

• A team player with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
