Hei Hiring! Full Time Creative Design Intern in - Ricebowl

We’re looking for a talented Creative Design Intern to join our team (under Hei by TOPPAN NEXT). You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and our team of Creatives for high-level work across an array of international projects.

Hei (a business unit under TOPPAN NEXT) is a human-first creative consultancy. We work alongside the region’s most ambitious clients & brands to imagine, design and build platforms, products and experiences that drive digital business and shape perceptions .

What You Will Do

• Assist the design team in crafting visual identities, branding assets, and creative solutions for a variety of client projects.
• Collaborate with senior designers and strategists to support the development of concepts, presentations, and deliverables.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh perspectives and a passion for design innovation.
• Help interpret design briefs and translate them into compelling visuals under the guidance of the team.
• Support the preparation of mock-ups, presentation decks, and design assets for both internal reviews and client-facing meetings.
• Conduct visual research, trend analysis, and competitor reviews to inspire and inform creative directions.
• Gain exposure to client meetings and presentations, building confidence in articulating design ideas over time.
• Assist with newspaper print production, including preparing print-ready files and checking artwork against specifications

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong art sense - design fundamentals, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); and Figma
• Knowledge of branding design and the entire UX process (personas, user flows, prototyping).
• Eagerness to learn, a proactive mindset, and openness to constructive feedback.
• Humility. We’ve worked hard to build a grounded, no-ego team with a can-do spirit.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus!)

• Animation & Motion Graphics: Familiarity with After Effects or similar tools to bring static designs to life.
