Mandai Wildlife Group Hiring! Full Time Technician (Taskforce), Facilities Management in Northwest (Singapore) - Ricebowl

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Provide daily support to the task force team responsible for minor quickfix repairs works. To carry out his duties efficiently, and in compliance with WSH regulations, procedures and service standards.

2) Coordinate with end users and follow up repair tasks and seek Manager/Snr Tech Exec guidance for any issue faced on site.

3) Assist the team in carrying out minor repair works such as carpentry, plumbing, wall/floor repairs, door hardware, painting, and other general building repair tasks where required.

4) Record completed works in FacilityBot to ensure proper documentation of repair activities for tracking purposes.

5) Monitor commonly used repair materials and tools to ensure sufficient stock is available for daily operations.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with strong technical knowledge.
• Able to read electrical wiring, control diagrams and drawings.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and system.
• Basic knowledge in air-conditioning including troubleshooting.
• Prior plumbing and fire protection knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and people management skills.
• Must be comfortable to work on shift/ roster basis (5 days work week).
• Comfortable to work from height; job requires to climb a 12 metres lamp pole to carry out lighting refocusing and replacement of blown lighting where required.
