Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Robotics and Coding Instructor to teach and lead our coding and robotics enrichment programmes for children aged 4 to 16. The ideal candidate has a passion for robotics, programming, and education, with experience teaching and managing children in a classroom setting.

As a Robotics and Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective robotics and coding curricula, managing and maintaining robotics equipment, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver robotics and coding curricula for students of various ages and skill levels
• Teach students how to use robotics equipment and programming software
• Manage and maintain robotics sets, including equipment and supplies
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback and support to students and parents
• Stay up to date with developments in robotics technology and education
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities

Requirements

• Experience teaching and managing children in a classroom setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Scratch is preferred
• Familiarity with robotics equipment and software, including LEGO SPIKE, LEGO Essential, and VEX Robotics is a strong plus point
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology and education trends
• Strong organizational and time management skills
