Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level IT and technical support at customer’s premise.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, operating system and application-related issues.
  • Support installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
  • Respond to support tickets, service requests and technical incidents within the agreed SLA.
  • Ensure IT support activities follow company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Monitor system performance and report any technical issues, risks or abnormalities.
  • Attend to support requests, incidents and technical problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, partners and principals for technical issue resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved or critical issues to the relevant support team or vendor.
  • Maintain IT and non-IT assets, system records, configuration details and support documentation.
  • Prepare service reports, incident reports, activity reports and technical documentation.
  • Assist deployment team during hardware and software system deployment, upgrades, preventive maintenance and technical documentation.
  • Maintain good communication and working relationship with customers, vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain proper records of support activities, system configuration and customer communication.
  • Ensure all support activities are carried out professionally and in line with company standards.
  • Able to work on a shift basis to support 24x7x365 operations, with scheduled off days provided in accordance to the duty roster.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT support, technical support, system support or related role.
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking and basic system troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, LAN, Wi-Fi, printers and endpoint devices.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, network devices, servers or enterprise applications is an advantage.
  • Willing to work onsite and be stationed at the customer’s sites.
  • Able to travel to customer sites when required.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Customer-focused, responsible, disciplined and able to handle support requests professionally.
  • Willing to learn new systems, products and technologies.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
