Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate the daily production activities of the pipeline manufacturing section, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in line with BWYS Group’s operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations for the pipeline section to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Monitor production processes and ensure efficient use of manpower, materials, and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Supervise and guide production operators, welders, and technicians to achieve department objectives.
• Review and analyze production performance; recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and reported for servicing when necessary.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Planning departments to resolve production-related issues.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly production reports to management.
• Conduct on-the-job training and performance evaluations for subordinates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with 5S and safety standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in pipeline, steel fabrication, or related industries.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of welding processes, material handling, and production planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and safety management systems will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
