Job Description

RedRadar International is hiring on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager (Occupational Therapist).

This role supports both clinical and operational functions within a specialised autism and rehabilitation centre. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, speech therapists, behaviour therapists, EIP therapists, and parents to ensure coordinated, high-quality intervention plans for clients.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, highly organised, and capable of balancing therapeutic expertise with operational oversight, team coordination, and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1) Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, behaviour therapists, and parents to ensure a coordinated intervention approach.
2) Track progress, prepare therapy reports, and adjust intervention plans as required.
3) Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team discussions to maintain best practices.
4) Strong clinical reasoning & problem-solving skills.
5) Communicate with EIP therapist and help them to solve student’s problem which are related to sensory issues, daily living skills, fine motor and gross motor skills.
6) Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of an outpatient rehabilitation department, including clients’ scheduling, flow, and waiting lists to meet targets.
7) Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for clients
8) Develop and implement personalized physiotherapy intervention programs for clients, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
9) Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, health and safety regulations, and evidence-based practice.
10) Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants, ensuring high standards of practice.
11) Foster collaboration with a diverse team to ensure comprehensive patient care and comfort.

Requirements

1) Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
2) Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
3) Experience working in occupational therapy, rehabilitation, or special needs environments.
4) Strong leadership, coordination, and team management abilities.
5) Excellent communication skills for working with parents, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
