Job Description
1. Provide Japanese English interpretation for internal and external meetings
2. Accurately convey messages while maintaining the original intent and context
3. Facilitate smooth communication between Japanese and local teams
4. Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion
5. Strong consecutive interpretation skills for business settings
6. Solid understanding of business and corporate terminology (e.g., management, finance, manufacturing, marketing, IT, etc.)
7. Ability to capture key points quickly and deliver accurate, natural interpretation
8. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Job Specification:
1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Japanese–English interpreter
2. Experience interpreting for Japanese executives or senior management
3. Experience working with Japanese companies or multinational organizations
4.Native-level or near-native proficiency in Japanese and English
* Japanese: JLPT N1 (mandatory)
* English: Advanced / Business level
5.Able to interpret fluently in both directions:
Japanese → English English → Japanese
6. Ability to perform Simultaneous Interpretation
7. Experience with online / virtual interpretation (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)
8. Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and confidentiality
9. Available to use PPT, EXCEL
10. Depending on job skills, there is a a possibility of being promoted to a regular employee
Job summary
Japanese–English Interpreter (2–3 yrs, JLPT N1) with simultaneous interpretation, bilingual fluency, MS Office skills, potential permanent role.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
