Job Description

Responsibilities

Perkins&Will is seeking a Studio Assistant for our Singapore office. The successful candidate will support the studio’s marketing coordinating efforts with a wide set of tasks. The position includes PR, communication and administrative responsibilities. Our new teammate will be a positive, resourceful, and proactive individual who possesses strong graphic design, writing, interpersonal, and communications skills. Asia region will be the priority but occasionally rest of the world is also included in the scope.

Common And Baseline Responsibilities

  • Prepares and coordinates proposals, qualifications, packages, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Drafts, edits, organizes, and proofs various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, award submittals, brochures, media relations pieces, and interview content to ensure content is comprehensive, competitive, and client-specific, as well as in accordance with the Perkins&Will brand standards.
  • Research clients, market trends, and background information to contribute to fully understanding the local competitive landscape.
  • Supporting media-related efforts: preparing media packages, developing and updating website content, and developing and distributing direct mail campaigns;
  • Participates in coordinating events, public relations efforts, advertisements, content for speaking engagements and award submittals.
  • Keeps open and clear communication.
  • Uses a creative approach to perform tasks and responsibilities on projects in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
  • Self-checks work for accuracy, omissions, and legibility.
  • Support day-to-day studio coordination to ensure smooth workflow, including managing vendors for repairs, maintenance, and supply orders, as well as assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provides support to the Office Manager or Talent Manager for special projects as needed.

  • Have strong graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Be a creative and strategic thinker with an ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Work collaboratively, independently, and under pressure
  • Have a post-secondary education in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, public relations, or relevant field
  • Bring 3+ years of directly relevant marketing and communications experience, ideally in an Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
  • Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
