Malaysia | 6-Month Extendable Contract

Experience: Up to 5 years

We are looking for a Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise connectivity and network security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support LAN, WAN, wireless, network security, automation, and network monitoring environments.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Wi-Fi, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA).
• Support network security technologies including Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower VPN, Cisco ISE, and Bluecoat Proxy.
• Perform network monitoring, SNMP troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution.
• Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Data Center network environments.
• Assist with network automation, scripting, and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.
• Maintain network documentation and support assigned connectivity projects.

Requirements

• Up to 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Infrastructure, or Network Security.
• Hands-on experience in LAN deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Cisco wireless, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Cisco SDA.
• Exposure to Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Cisco ISE, VPN, and Bluecoat Proxy.
• Basic knowledge of network automation, scripting, or programming.
• Understanding of HA, DR, Data Center Networks, and network monitoring tools.
• Good communication, troubleshooting, stakeholder-management, and vendor-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
