Dexian Asia Pacific Hiring! Full Time Junior Software Engineer in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Responsible for developing and executing test plans/scenarios/scripts for communication devices for the professional and mission-critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments per specifications.

- Participate in all aspects of test development process including specification definition, design, implementation and testing, and possess a good understanding of the various software lifecycle

- Create new dynamic API/method calls for re-usability in multiple test scripts.

- Coordinate and participate in test idea design and script review

- Analyzing, identifying and submitting issues.

- Perform necessary analysis required for the project, identify and solve complex technical problems requiring proper evaluation and analysis as well as make decisions that positively impact the project

Job Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required for this position

- Preferably 1 years equivalent industry (firmware/ software development/test) experience is required for this position assuming education requirements are met

- Open for fresh graduates with related background and experience

- Good foundation knowledge in C, C++, and C# design.

- Able to write and test code using Java, XML, Python, or similar programming languages.

- Ability to work and communicate well (verbal and written) in a cross-functional team environment

- Demonstrate proficiency using lab equipment and debug techniques

- Experience with test case management tool (ALM, TestRail)

- Possess strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, troubleshooting skills, creatively resolve execution failures and knowledge of software design, to include object oriented design

- Main responsibility: Run manual testing on system

- Candidate with good foundation knowledge in C++, Java is preferred

- Candidate with knowledge in LTE testing will be an added advantage (not mandatory)

- Open for fresh graduates (with good communication skills and proactive attitude)

- On-site position (looking to candidate who is able to work in Penang)
