Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain, and control processes
  • Set clear and agreed requirements with customers through quality plans
  • Lead and coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and workplace safety regulations
  • Act as the primary interface with customers on quality-related matters
  • Lead initiatives to improve yield at customer incoming inspection and reduce RMAs
  • Lead, participate in, and support regulatory and customer audits at the site
  • Drive proactive continuous improvement in yield and quality metrics
  • Ensure the effectiveness of pFMEA
  • Work with SQE and suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials
  • Conduct ESD audits
  • Drive cross-functional teams to deliver continual improvement activities for internal process deliverables
  • Build and embed quality awareness within Operations
  • Ensure the effectiveness of training and inspection activities
  • Educate operators and production associates on quality, compliance, and procedures
  • Provide supervision to QA Supervisors, Inspectors, and Technicians
  • Supervise QA operators, group leaders, and technicians in ongoing quality improvement activities
  • Provide technical guidance and communication to Engineers and Technicians
  • Lead or guide engineers in responding effectively to customer feedback and CAPA, and follow up on quality metrics set in the quality plan
  • Prepare Quality Operations Review reports
  • Other additional work tasks or additional roles assigned by the superiors



2.0 Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing and quality assurance
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 standards
  • Hands-on experience with IPC, SMT, WB/DA, FMEA, and Automotive Core Tools
  • Experienced in quality analysis, problem solving, project management, customer audits, First Article Inspections, and process audits
  • Knowledge of or certification in IPC 610 standard (CIS/CIT)
  • Proficient in FMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, and DOE
  • Added advantage: Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and self-driven motivation to achieve excellent results
  • Maintains enthusiasm and efficiency under pressure
