Job Description

Responsibilities

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing, designing, and overseeing construction projects from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plan and specifications in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Site Management: Supervise and manage construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, budgetary constraints, and safety standards.
  • Contractor and Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors , suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources efficiently to ensure project are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions as needed to minimize project delays or disruptions.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, project stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on construction projects, preferably in infrastructure (LTA/CAG/PUB) projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage project and prioritize tasks effectively.
