Job Summary

Support and coordinate sales activities to ensure smooth communication among customers, sales, operations, logistics, and finance teams while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily sales activities to support the sales team in meeting sales targets.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals to facilitate sales processes.
  • Maintain clear communication between customers and the sales team to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor sales inquiries and provide timely responses to customers to enhance satisfaction.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently to ensure order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with order processing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Track order status and proactively update customers on delivery schedules.
  • Resolve order-related issues and discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding order status, documentation, and service requests.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to build trust.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support retention.
  • Prepare sales reports, order summaries, and performance tracking reports to inform management.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and sales documentation for compliance.
  • Ensure proper filing and record management of all sales-related documents.
  • Assist in preparing monthly sales forecasts and management reports to support planning.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules with logistics to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure invoices and payment documentation are processed correctly.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems proficiently to manage sales and order data.
  • Apply precision and meet objectives and deadlines consistently in daily tasks.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Fluent English communication skills to engage effectively in international settings.
  • Experience with shipping software and key IT tools relevant to sales and logistics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience serving marine customers.
