We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Azure Cloud Engineer to manage and support Azure Stack Hub, enterprise infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and monitoring tools within a hybrid cloud environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong infrastructure administration experience across Azure Stack Hub, Hyper-V, Splunk, Active Directory, and enterprise monitoring platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Azure Stack Hub (on-premises) environments
- Perform infrastructure patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management for Azure Stack Hub and Dell EMC platforms
- Manage and support Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments
- Administer and optimize Splunk platforms for monitoring, analytics, and alerting
- Manage Active Directory, including user administration, GPOs, and authentication services
- Support and maintain SCOM and SolarWinds monitoring platforms
- Conduct system health checks, troubleshooting, patching, and performance tuning
- Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes are maintained and tested
- Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and technical runbooks
- Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to resolve infrastructure issues
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Stack Hub administration and patching
- Experience managing Dell EMC infrastructure and lifecycle management
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V environments
- Experience with Splunk administration and monitoring platforms
- Good understanding of Active Directory administration
- Experience with SCOM and SolarWinds
- Knowledge of Windows Server and RHEL environments
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
