Role Description The Accounts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Bahru. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and monthly closings. The Accounts Manager will prepare financial statements, reconcile bank and vendor accounts, monitor cash flow, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. This role will also ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, coordinate with external auditors or tax consultants as needed, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation. The Accounts Manager will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, support management decisions, and help improve financial processes and controls.


Qualifications

  • Strong grounding in accounting principles, including experience with general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to analyze financial data and generate clear reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and auditors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in an accounts or finance manager role is preferred; exposure to healthcare, wellness, or service industries is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Johor Bahru and maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
