We are looking for a Senior Manager, Operations Analytics Unit (OAU) to play a key role in shaping how our hospital uses data to advance operational intelligence across the hospital. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable solutions, and influencing decisions at both the operational and senior management levels – someone equally comfortable writing code and presenting insights to leadership.
The Challenges
Design and implement robust dashboards, and reporting systems to ensure timely and comprehensive visibility of operational and performance metrics across the hospital
Apply analytics and modelling techniques to optimise patient flow, capacity planning, and access to care
Develop automated monitoring and early warning systems to track key performance indicators, surface performance deviations, and enable proactive operational management
Conduct in-depth descriptive and diagnostic analyses — including trend analysis, correlation identification, and root cause investigation — to provide management with a rigorous understanding of operational performance drivers
Lead digitalisation and automation initiatives using tools such as SQL and Python to enhance workflow efficiency
Identify operational gaps and implement scalable, data-driven solutions across departments
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, well-structured reports and presentations, communicating insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, clinical, IT) to support decision-making and strategic planning
Drive adoption of a data-driven culture and build analytics capabilities across the organisation
Lead projects end-to-end and mentor junior team members to strengthen team performance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, operations, or healthcare environments
Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) and large datasets; familiarity with healthcare systems is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to distil complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and work across teams in a complex environment
Experience in project management and driving process improvements or digital initiatives
A high degree of initiative, professional maturity, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
