The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:
The Surveillance Planning & Systems Executive is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the Company's CCTV and surveillance systems across all facilities. This role ensures surveillance systems are effectively designed, operationally reliable, compliant with company requirements, and capable of supporting security, operational, and investigative needs
Job Description:
  • Design, plan, and optimize CCTV surveillance systems, including site assessments, camera placement, storage requirements, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Manage end-to-end CCTV deployment projects by coordinating with vendors, contractors, IT teams, and site stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems to ensure continuous operation, recording reliability, and minimal system downtime.
  • Support integration of CCTV systems with access control, AI analytics, monitoring platforms, and other security technologies.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, inventories, configurations, and prepare reports on system health, maintenance, and project progress.
  • Manage vendor performance, maintenance activities, equipment lifecycle planning, and technology upgrade initiatives to improve surveillance capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices while supporting other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, Security Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (3 years for Diploma holders) in CCTV, surveillance systems, physical security, or related fields.
  • Experience in CCTV project implementation, system maintenance, and vendor management is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IP-based CCTV systems, including cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, video storage, and surveillance infrastructure. Familiarity with brands such as Uniview (UNV) and Hikvision is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switches, VLANs, PoE, internet connectivity, and remote access configurations.
  • Ability to perform CCTV troubleshooting, interpret technical drawings and layouts, and support system integrations with security and monitoring platforms.
  • Strong project coordination, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
