Job Description:

• Receive and inspect steel and engineering materials upon delivery.
• Verify items against purchase orders (POs) and delivery notes (DNs).
• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to Procurement or QA/QC.
• Label and tag materials based on project allocation.
• Record and update project details in the inventory system or logbook for traceability.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in both physically and digitally.
• Monitor stock levels of essential items and consumables.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Track usage of consumables such as welding rods, gloves, and grinding discs.
• Set reorder levels and notify Procurement when stock level is low.
• Organize and store materials properly according to type and size.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area.
• Ensure all items are clearly labelled and easy to access.
• Follow safety procedures for handling and storing materials.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least SPM or its equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 1–2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of steel and fabrication materials.
• Proficient in MS Excel or basic inventory management systems.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of safety standards in material handling and storage.
