Reporting To: Production Manager

Industry: Custom Industrial Equipment Manufacturing (Ovens, Paint Lines, Dipping Systems)

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Permanent conversion opportunity after 9-month review)

What You'll Do

• Receive, check, and issue materials (steel, paint, parts) with proper records.
• Update delivery status in the system and help monitor stock levels.
• Operate forklift or crane to handle heavy items (training provided if needed).
• Store materials and tools safely and in the right place (steel upright, flammables in cabinets, tools organized).
• Keep tools and company vehicles in good condition and properly tracked.
• Follow safety rules at all times — use PPE and handle materials safely.
• Support weekly stock counts, yearly inventory audits, and help train junior staff.
• Take on other tasks from your supervisor as needed.
• Open to role upgrade based on your skills (e.g., Supervisor, Inventory, Procurement).
• And any other job as assigned by the Management from time to time

What You Need

• SPM or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain (or related field)
• 3+ years warehouse experience, especially in manufacturing
• Forklift license required (crane handling is a bonus)
• Basic part knowledge – like motors, valves, tools, etc.
• Warehouse software (basic computer skills OK)
• Safety-minded and good at organizing space
• Welding/power tools maintenance experience.

Working Conditions

• Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Breaks: 60min lunch + 10min morning and afternoon tea break + flexible solat time.
• Overtime: OT pay rate compliant with Malaysian labor laws, OT scheduled based on project need.
• Weekday OT: Minimum 2 hours per session with additional 30 minutes dinner break
• Weekend OT: Full-day requirement (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Environment: Warehouse setting (non-air-conditioned)
