Job Summary
The Fabrication Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed fabrication drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation for sheet metal, structural steel, acoustic enclosures, and generator assembly components. The role works closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, accurate, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for sheet metal, structural frames, brackets, ducts, and assemblies.
Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor.
Generate fabrication drawings including dimensions, tolerances, weld symbols, bend allowances, and material specifications.
Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and drawing registers.
Review and revise drawings based on engineering changes and production feedback.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
Support production by resolving drawing-related technical issues.
Prepare cutting layouts, nesting drawings, jigs, and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Maintain document control and drawing revision records.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
Assist in product improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Drafting, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fabrication drafting, mechanical drafting, or sheet metal design.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes:Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding, Assembly, Finishing
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of weld symbols, GD&T, tolerances, and material specifications.
Familiar with drawing revision control and documentation systems.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: From RM4,500.00 per month
