Key Responsibilities

Production Management

· Supervise and coordinate daily Auto Lathe machining operations.

· Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved according to customer requirements.

· Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and efficiency.

· Allocate manpower effectively to meet production demands.

· Minimize machine downtime and production interruptions.

Quality Control

· Ensure all machined components meet customer specifications and quality standards.

· Monitor first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.

· Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.

· Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) team on non-conformance issues.

· Promote continuous improvement in product quality.

Team Leadership

· Lead, train, and supervise Auto Lathe operators and technicians.

· Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.

· Ensure operators follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Foster teamwork, discipline, and a positive work environment.

Machine & Process Management

· Monitor machine performance and process stability.

· Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the maintenance department.

· Support machine setup, tooling changes, and process optimization.

· Ensure proper machine parameter control and documentation.

Safety & Compliance

· Enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies.

· Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of PPE.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment following 5S practices.

· Ensure compliance with ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement

· Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

· Analyze production data and prepare improvement recommendations.

· Support implementation of automation and process enhancement projects.

Reporting

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including productivity, quality, scrap rate, OEE, and downtime.

· Report production issues and corrective actions to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Auto Lathe/CNC Lathe machining environment.

· At least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

· Strong knowledge of Auto Lathe operations, tooling, machining processes, and quality control.

· Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.

· Familiarity with ISO quality systems and manufacturing best practices.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
