Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Executive (Payroll) to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing, statutory compliance, preparation of salary report and proper maintenance of payroll records.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Manage and execute the end-to-end payroll process, including salary computation, overtime, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing for all employees.
  • Assist the team in the payroll system migration project by extracting, cleaning, and preparing historical payroll data for the new system.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Labour Laws, Employment Act, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit statutory payments and reports within the stipulated deadlines.

Record Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, employee attendance, leave balances, and related HR documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee and company information.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate payroll reports, summaries, and analysis for management review.
  • Assist in audits and provide payroll-related documentation when required.

Employee Support

  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee enquiries related to payroll, claims, benefits, deductions, and leave matters.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues effectively.

HR & System Administration

  • Utilize HR and payroll systems efficiently to ensure data accuracy and smooth payroll operations.
  • Support HR administrative functions and assist with process improvements where necessary.

. Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in mid to large-sized organizations or shared services environments.
  • Deep understanding of complex payroll computation logic and employment laws.
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR systems such as HR2000 (Quickpay and QTMS)
  • Prior exposure to payroll system migration or implementation is a strong advantage, but not a strict requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws and statutory regulations.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are mandatory).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
