As part of our growth, we are looking for a technical-oriented Architectural Assistant (Part I) to support our architect. The role primarily involves preparing detailed drawings, documentation, and assisting in project coordination throughout the execution phase. Duties & Responsibilities
- Produce detailed drawings, construction documentation, and shop drawings for interior projects.
- Support detailed drawings and documentation for statutory and tender submissions.
- Assist in material specifications, furniture detailing, and joinery drawings.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and consultants for technical requirements and approvals.
- Ensure all drawings and documents comply with project standards and timelines.
- Support the senior architect, design team and project management team in day-to-day coordination and follow-up.
- Maintain organized project files, drawing records, and technical libraries.
- Liaise with local authorities and councils to secure necessary permits and approvals.
Academic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior architecture (LAM Part 1 or equivalent).
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in technical drafting using AutoCAD (Revit, SketchUp or similar software is a plus).
- Basic understanding of construction methods, detailing, and materials for interiors.
- Basic understanding UBBL, and local submission processes.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency preferred for local submissions
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced project delivery environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
