Position Overview:

As a Construction Project Engineer - Protege, you will assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals early in their careers who are eager to learn and grow in the construction industry. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports.

Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any issues that arise.

Communication: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment on project goals.

Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and solutions for construction-related challenges, including interpreting plans and specifications.

Reporting: Assist in preparing project status reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Cost Management: Help track project expenses and assist in budget preparation and cost estimation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Familiarity with construction processes, tools, and materials.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship or co-op experience in construction or engineering.

Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.

Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and design software.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
