Job Title: IPQA Inspector (Stamping/Sheet Metal)

DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Summary: The In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on precision metal stamping and sheet metal fabrication processes. The role ensures that products meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing:
- Perform detailed in-process inspections of metal stamping and sheet metal fabrication products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM/VMM/PROFILE PROJECTOR) to verify product dimensions.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify surface defects, inconsistencies, and other quality issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including measurements, observations, and deviations from standards.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to the Quality Control Manager.
- Document non-conformances and collaborate with the production team to resolve quality issues.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and company quality policies.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to address quality issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify and address quality concerns.
- Provide feedback to production operators and supervisors on quality-related issues and improvements.
- Participate in quality review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum Diploma and or 2-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in precision metal stamping and sheet metal fabrication.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.

- This position involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and metalworking processes.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection may be required.
