IKHASAS Group Of Companies Hiring! Full Time Environmental Officer in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 5,000 - Ricebowl

• Implement and monitor environmental management programmes in compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974 and related environmental regulations.
• Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System throughout project execution.
• Manage scheduled waste in accordance with the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 and requirements of the CePSWaM certification scheme.
• Monitor environmental impacts arising from construction activities including dust emission, noise pollution, soil erosion, sediment control, wastewater discharge and waste management.
• Maintain scheduled waste inventories, storage areas, labelling systems, consignment notes and disposal records in accordance with Department of Environment (DOE) requirements.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to legal and project requirements.
• Coordinate with licensed scheduled waste contractors and regulatory authorities on waste handling and disposal matters.
• Investigate environmental incidents, complaints and non-compliances, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct environmental awareness programmes and training for site personnel to promote environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
• Prepare environmental monitoring reports, records and submissions required by clients and regulatory authorities.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction
• Possess a valid CePSWaM (Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management) certification.
• Additional environmental-related certifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to prepare environmental reports, compliance records and audit documentation
• Willing to work at project site and travel when required.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
