We are a fast-growing interior design and build company specializing in residential, commercial, hospitality, and fit-out projects. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a responsible, resourceful, and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our young and dynamic team.

This position is suitable for Junior to Intermediate level Quantity Surveyors who are eager to take ownership of projects, grow their technical knowledge, and build a long-term career within the interior design and construction industry.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and quotations for interior design and fit-out projects
  • Taking-off quantities from drawings and specifications
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documentation
  • Sourcing and negotiating prices with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Evaluating quotations and preparing cost comparison reports
  • Managing project costing, claims, variation orders, and progress claims
  • Monitoring project budgets and cost control throughout project execution
  • Coordinating closely with designers, project managers, suppliers, contractors, and clients
  • Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
  • Assisting management in procurement planning and contract administration
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising design quality and project requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Technology, Interior Architecture, or related field
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant working experience preferred
  • Experience in interior design, renovation, fit-out, or construction projects is an added advantage
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic results and exceptional attitude may also be considered
  • Strong understanding of costing, measurements, and construction methodologies
  • Good knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, fit-out works, and construction materials is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic quantity surveying software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly responsible
  • Able to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage due to client and supplier communication requirements
