Job description
- Teaching, guiding and supervising students in the theoretical and practical aspects of welding and In-house training syllabus.
- Responsible in imparting knowledge and skills to students according to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW).
- Design course syllabus, develop teaching aids, time table planning, prepare for examinations and course works.
- Keeping accurate and timely records, submission of grades, adhere to the Institution's policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper trainee involvement, effective planning and preparations for classes.
- Passion for teaching trainees by actively engaging trainees in the learning process.
- Enforcement of trainee's discipline, conducts, attitudes and safety.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Certificate in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) or equivalent.
- Preferably someone with Vocational Training Operation (VTO).
- Good verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Have at least 3 years of teaching experience or 5 years of working experience in welding.
- Have a high desire or interest in teaching.
- Must be proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Electrical Technology.
- Has a high level of discipline and can multitask.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
