Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Support Engineer for Google Services to provide technical assistance and support to end-users of Google Workspace and other Google products. This role requires a strong understanding of Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet), Cloud Platform and other related technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-centric approach.

The support engineer will troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and guide users on best practices to optimize their use of Google services. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with customers to understand their technical issues and provide solutions. Educating users on how to use Google Products (Google Workspace or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Recognizing when an issue requires more expertise and passing it on to a higher level of support, internal or principal.
  • Collaborating with other members of the Tech team to resolve issues and improve systems.
  • Staying informed about the latest technology trends and developments.
  • Log documentation in the internal system (Freshdesk).
  • To certify and maintain a professional certificate.
  • To assist other teams as and when necessary.

Desired Qualities:

  • A strong drive to learn.
  • The ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • The ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to interact with customers in a helpful and professional manner. The ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with frustrated users.
  • Be able to speak more than one language.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
