Overview
The Design Practice is responsible for elevating design standards, expanding the impact of design across the organization, and fostering a strong design community. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how designers work at scale by building internal tools, products, and AI-powered solutions that improve workflows, knowledge sharing, and program delivery across the design community.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop internal tools and lightweight products used by designers across the organization.
- Build solutions that improve design operations, collaboration, information sharing, and community engagement.
- Rapidly transform ideas, concepts, and hypotheses into usable prototypes and working products.
- Leverage AI-native and agentic coding tools as a core part of the development workflow.
- Own and maintain the tools you create, ensuring reliability and usability until they are ready to scale or be handed over to larger teams.
- Collaborate closely with designers to understand their needs and develop solutions that create meaningful impact.

Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Product Design, Creative Technology, Front-End Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience building interactive prototypes, internal tools, or digital products.
- Strong hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar agentic coding platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to ship real-world products and tools, not just proof-of-concepts or demos.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and execute ambiguous projects effectively.
- Solid understanding of modern web technologies, application deployment, security fundamentals, and software development best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Portfolio showcasing products, tools, prototypes, or applications that have been built and launched.
