Job Description:

• Optimise and enhance an in-house windshear and microburst detection algorithm;

• Explore and integrate latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to improve detection capabilities;

• Support the coordination and setup of the IT infrastructure for a radar replacement project; and

• Provide system documentation and transfer the software to divisional staff.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related subjects

• At least 3 years experience in application development

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python and shell scripting for system automation and algorithm development.

• Experience in data analytics, model comparison and algorithm verification.

• Knowledge of IT networking to support system infrastructure setup and coordination.

• Knowledge of, or hands-on experience in, developing and deploying machine learning or artificial intelligence applications is preferred.

• Good communication skills
