Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation of the Compliance and AML/CFT program and report to the Chief Executive;

• Review and establish of policies and procedures according to business and product development;

• Act as a central reference point for reporting suspicious transactions and also as the main point of contact with the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit (JFIU) and law enforcement agencies;

• Play an active role in the identification and reporting of suspicious transactions;

• Review of internal disclosures and exception reports to determine whether or not it is necessary to make a report to the JFIU;

• Conduct assessments, investigation and surveys with external parties;

• Enforce daily operation of compliance and transaction monitoring with teammates;

• Promote compliance and risk awareness and concerns to each level of staff;

• Provide strategic and tactical advice in compliance and risk management;

• Enforce daily operation of compliance and transaction monitoring with teammates;

• Promote compliance and risk awareness and concerns to each level of staff.

Job Requirements: 

• At least 8 years of experience in AML/Compliance from banks, recognized establishments in financial services and/or FinTech-related industries, with prior experience as MLRO & CO preferred;

• In-depth knowledge of AML laws, regulations and guidelines related to SVF licensees, including but not limited to the PSSVFO and the practice notes and guidelines issued by the HKMA;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and

• Professional certification in AML Compliance (e.g. ACAMS) is a plus.
