Production Support / Software Engineer (Front Office) – Global Investment Bank

A leading global investment bank is looking for a Production Support / Software Engineer to join its Trading Platform teams. This role sits close to the business, supporting critical trading systems and working directly with Front Office users to ensure platform stability and performance across APAC.

What You’ll Do

• Provide L2/L3 production support for trading platforms, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

• Perform real‑time monitoring and resolution of production issues in high‑pressure environments

• Partner closely with Front Office, Operations, and Risk to ensure system stability and responsiveness

• Maintain and support Docker / Kubernetes environments, including clusters and deployments

• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to streamline releases

• Support cloud upgrades, migrations, and DevOps initiatives

• Drive automation and continuous improvement across support processes

• Work with regional teams to support systems across APAC

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in production support or software engineering within financial services (Front Office preferred)

• Strong troubleshooting skills in real-time, high-pressure environments

• Solid technical skills in Java and SQL (essential)

• Exposure to Python is a plus

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines

• Good understanding of DevOps and cloud environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business users

• Fluent in English
