Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Procurement Manager to lead and strengthen our procurement function within the Construction and Interior Design (ID) industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing construction materials, managing supplier relationships, and supporting project delivery across multiple sites. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills, and proven experience in developing procurement processes and managing end-to-end procurement operations.



What You Will Do


  • Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for procurement and hiring related to construction materials, machinery, equipment, and services.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and budget control.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Establish vendor registration systems and maintain approved supplier and subcontractor databases.
  • Monitor Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), supplier credit applications, and ensure timely procurement support for project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors (QS), and site teams to plan and forecast procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, import/export regulations, taxation requirements, and company policies.
  • Support financial planning, cost monitoring, and procurement reporting for management and auditors.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to drive performance and accountability.


What You Should Have


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the Construction and Interior Design (ID) industry.
  • Proven experience in sourcing construction materials, finishes, fittings, furniture, and project-related services.
  • Strong network of suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors within the Construction and ID industry.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Experience collaborating with Project Managers, QS teams, and site operations teams.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, and cost control.
