Service Line Overview

KPMG IT services help the organization to adopt technological solutions by leveraging existing technology while also exploring the opportunities presented by cloud computing, mobile devices and other emerging technologies, in turn facilitating delivery of professional service and values to our clients.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SharePoint & DMS Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SharePoint development and administration, along with strong knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS). This role involves leading complex SharePoint and DMS implementations, ensuring seamless integration, and driving continuous improvement across document-centric workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • SharePoint Administration & Development: Provide advanced SharePoint support, develop custom solutions, and manage environment optimization and governance.

  • DMS Integration & Management: Configure and integrate DMS systems while implementing document lifecycle policies and automation.

  • Development & Customisation: Develop secure and scalable code for SharePoint and DMS integrations using modern technologies and best practices.

  • Training & Documentation: Create technical documentation and deliver training to enhance user adoption and system proficiency.

  • Strategic Leadership & Continuous Improvement: Lead innovation in document management and SharePoint by staying updated on emerging technologies and mentoring teams.

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development and administration.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Document Management Systems (DMS), including integration with SharePoint or other platforms.

  • Proven track record in leading SharePoint and DMS implementation projects.

  • Experience with SharePoint Online, PowerShell, and REST API is required.

  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem is a plus.

  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, web applications, and content databases.

  • Expertise in JavaScript, C#, and .NET for SharePoint and DMS development.

  • Strong understanding of SQL Server, database design, and query optimisation.

  • Experience with DMS platforms such as SharePoint or similar.

  • Knowledge of document lifecycle management, metadata modelling, and compliance frameworks 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and security.
