Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Application Engineer role based in Shah Alam. The Application Engineer will support the selection, configuration, and application of industrial pump systems to meet customer requirements, including reviewing specifications, preparing technical proposals, and developing cost estimates. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical support to customers and the sales team, troubleshooting issues on-site or remotely, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical challenges. The role involves conducting testing, performance evaluations, and commissioning support, as well as preparing technical documentation, reports, and user guidelines. The Application Engineer will also collaborate on product and process improvements, contribute to after-sales support, and ensure that all solutions align with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical foundation with skills in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering for industrial equipment and pump systems.
  • Experience in Technical Support, including troubleshooting, customer assistance, and after-sales service in an engineering or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on competency in Testing of equipment and systems, including performance checks, diagnostics, and commissioning support.
  • Exposure to Software Development or industrial control/monitoring software is an advantage for configuring and integrating system solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and industry standards, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, proposals, and customer interactions.
  • Willingness to work on-site at customer facilities when required and to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial setting.


Remuneration Package

  • Basic Salary with commission, 13th month contractual bonus, Performance Bonus, Incetives.
  • Internal and External training to be provided.
